Ms. Thuy Anh grew up in a peaceful and secluded area where English was not spoken at all. However, at the age of 12, she began taking English lessons and quickly became fascinated by the language. She would spend millions of hours using a paper dictionary to learn new words and would write them down on pieces of paper that she would stick around her home. Additionally, she keeps a diary where she will practice writing with limited words and focused on grammar to improve her English.
Her passion for the language inspired her to become an English teacher. She enrolled in TESOL courses at the prestigious University of Technology and Education in Ho Chi Minh City. At first, she was a shy student in English-speaking courses and felt anxious about speaking up. However, she was determined to overcome her insecurities, so she started practicing listening and speaking techniques every night, which helped her make great progress. Her success taught her that with continuous effort, anyone can unlock their potential. While studying at the university, she tutored young learners, middle school and high school students, and worked as a teacher's assistant before finally becoming an English instructor at the age of 21.
Eager for growth, she pursued a Master's Degree from Benedictine University, Illinois, USA. Despite her love for teaching, she bid farewell to colleagues and students at Vinschool Central Park after six years to complete her thesis on grammar tools' impact on English writing. Two years later, the transformation she has transformed is nothing short of remarkable. With newfound confidence, she now stands ready to empower the next generation to conquer the realm of English learning, just as she did.
With a decade of teaching experience, she has gained a deep understanding of the needs of Vietnamese learners. Her credentials are a testament to her expertise and unwavering commitment to innovative teaching methods. She is known for her positivity, care, and reliability, and she goes above and beyond just teaching to inspire and guide her students towards growth and joy in learning.
Mr. Elvis Cruz is from Los Angeles, California. From an early age, he had a keen interest in learning and would spend millions of hours at the library reading everything he could get his hands on. He has always been interested by technology and its potential to enhance all aspects of life. As a kid, he will dismantle electronics and marvel at their inner workings. During his college years, he would fix phones and computers as a side job. The continuous advancements in artificial intelligence and space exploration never cease to amaze him.
Mr. Elvis loves adventure, driven by a passion for travel and learning. His travels have deepened his understanding of the world's diverse cultures and people, shaping him into a more enlightening educator. By sharing real-world experiences with his students, he encouraged them to boldly embrace life's opportunities and pursue knowledge with enthusiasm.
Currently, he is in the final thesis stage of his Ph.D. in curriculum design and instruction at Liberty University in Virginia and hopes to finish soon. Education has always been a priority for him, and he is deeply appreciative of the opportunities he has had. He hopes to share these opportunities in Vietnam by providing quality and personalized English education through modern teaching methods, cutting-edge technology, and unwavering commitment to his students.
